Healthy, Ohio, July 6, 2021 – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has been asked to assist with the investigation into a shooting that took place on the night of July 5th, 2021. Mt. Healthy Police Chief Vincent Demasi released the following information: “On Monday, July 5, 2021 at 10pm, Mt. Healthy Police were called to a parking lot adjoining 7840 Clovernook Avenue for a report of a man down in the street. Upon arrival, officers found a Black male, 25-30 years of age, lying in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim drove into the secluded parking area and remained in his vehicle. Shortly thereafter, a Black male, 25-30 years old, 5’7”- 6’0”, wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and black gym shoes, approached the victim’s vehicle. The victim exited his vehicle, at which time the suspect shot him and then fled on foot.” We are including video here of the suspect and the vehicle. The deceased have been identified as Milo Watson, a male, 16 years of age and Dexter Wright Jr., a male, 19 years of age.
