Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE July 30, 2022 On July 30, 2022, at 1:00 AM, District Two officers along with Cincinnati Fire Department Personnel responded to the 3400 block of Cardiff Avenue for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a stab wound to his torso. Cincinnati Fire Department Personnel were unable to resuscitate the victim and he was pronounced deceased on scene. The victim was identified as Michael Lamb, a male 41 years of age. Responding officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at that location. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The victim has been identified as Anthony Billups, male 34 years of age. *UPDATE* On July 18, 2022, at approximately 12:30 AM, the Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested Deonte Wilson, male 21 years of age and Darrius Wilson, male 25 years of age, and charged them in connection with the death of Mr. Billups.
