Case Information: March 29, 1019 SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) – A woman who was shot and killed in South Fairmount Saturday night has been identified. Darian Wood, 26, was shot in the 1700 block of Westwood Avenue at 9:23 p.m., Cincinnati police said. Wood was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where police said she was pronounced dead on arrival. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating. Case Information: A shooting early Sunday morning in the West End has left one person dead and one person injured. Police were called to the scene of a shooting in the 900 block of Findlay Street. One of the victims, 30-year-old Donte Ford, was located by officers and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. A second shooting victim was dropped off at University Hospital by private vehicle. The second victim is expected to survive and their name has not been released. There was also a report of a third shooting victim, however police report that this was not related to this particular case. Case Information: Cincinnati Police officers said they found a man shot in a car in Westwood Wednesday night. Crews were called to 2520 Harrison Avenue around 7:30 p.m. where they found 32-year-old Caurry Walker. Walker was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Case Information: A man who was reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in South Fairmount, according to Cincinnati Police. Chase Daniel Singer, 36, was found dead at around 11 a.m. on Friday in the 1800 block of Forbus St. in South Fairmount. The death has been ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office. Singer was reported missing on Tuesday by his aunt, who reported that she has not seen or heard from him in three weeks. Singer suffered from a brain injury that he sustained as a child. A neighbor told police Singer left behind his therapeutic dog, Lu-Lu, who he never leaves, without food or water. Police said when Singer went missing that he was in good physical condition but poor mental condition. The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing. After collaborating with the Hamilton County Coroner’s office, the remains were identified as Nickiesha Holloman (a female black 23 years of age). Case Information: On June 6, 2007, at 2:25 a.m., Cincinnati Police received a 911 call to 4259 Fergus St. reference a person shot lying in the street. District Five Officers along with Cincinnati Fire Personnel responded and located a black male suffering from gun shot wounds. The victim has been identified as John Harris, male, black, 25 years old born on July 19, 1982. Preliminary investigation reveals that Mr. Harris was a victim of a robbery where his vehicle (Black Chev, Monte Carlo) was stolen. The vehicle has been recovered by District Five Police on Spring Grove Ave parked and unattended.
