Cincinnati Police Department District 4, Investigative Unit is investigating a Theft and an Assault that occurred at 1 W Corry St.

 

The Theft and Assault occurred on March 28, 2021 at 1:15 PM at listed location.  Reporting person states an unknown suspect walked through the store eating pizza which he failed to pay for. When the suspect was stopped by security, he became violent. He damaged property and punched the security guard.  There is available video surveillance footage of the incident.  

 

Property Taken: Consumable goods

 

Suspect Information: Male black, gray puff coat, and tan pants.

Walgreen's Breaking and Entering Investigation

Breaking and Entering offense occurred on March 24th, 2021 at the Walgreen’s located at Hyde Park Plaza(3822 Paxton Av.).  The subject used a crow bar to break out glass door to enter the business.  The subject took unknown amount of cigarettes.  Subject fled in a dark gray sedan, unknown make or model.  District Two is experiencing similar offenses with the same suspect.  The suspect is a male, unknown race, wearing a green jacket.

Multi-Bank Robbery Suspect

 

Cincinnati Police Department Financial Crimes Unit is seeking  help from the public in identifying a suspect responsible for several bank robberies throughout Greater Cincinnati. 

 

The suspect is a white male 25 to 35 years old, who is about 5’10” with a thin build body.

 

The vehicle he’s used in several of his robberies is a very distinct grayish blue 2007 Chrysler 300C with chrome door handles, chrome side mirrors, 9 spoke wheels and possibly has a sunroof. There is also a dent in the front passengers side fender

 

The suspect has committed robberies at the  following financial institutions.

 

  • November 9, 2020      US Bank, 2261 Beechmont Avenue
  • November 16, 2020    Northside Bank and Trust, 2739 Madison Road
  • November 24, 2020    Fifth Third Bank, 2094 Beechmont Avenue
  • November 24, 2020    Fifth Third Bank, 2150 Sherman Avenue
  • December 14, 2020    US Bank, 3424 Edwards Road
  • December 18, 2020    Key Bank, 2652 Erie Avenue
  • December 28, 2020    Fifth Third Bank, 11792 Lebanon Road

May 30, 2022

 

On Monday, May 30, 2022, at approximately 12:15 AM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 897 Walnut Street to investigate a fatal injury traffic crash.

 

A Gray Volvo XC60 sport utility vehicle traveling West on 9th Street made a left turn to travel South on Walnut Street and struck a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.  The striking vehicle initially left the scene of the crash but returned to speak with police.

 

Mr. Anthony Watson, M/63, was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and was pronounced deceased.     

 

A person of interest is being interviewed regarding this investigation.

 

The driver of the striking vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt.

 

Excessive speed is being investigated as a factor in the crash.  Impairment as a factor is being investigated.
