Serious Injury Crash Investigation
August 30, 2022
**UPDATE**
On Saturday, August 27, 2022, at approximately 2:12 AM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 3112 Linwood Avenue to investigate a serious injury traffic crash.
Mr. Ryan Malm, M/25, Ms. Ella Lykins, F/20 and Ms. Valentena Carmosino, F/21 were pedestrians standing in the roadway near a gray Honda Civic, when they were struck by a vehicle traveling northwest on Linwood Avenue. The vehicle did not remain at the scene of the crash and was described as a dark color sport utility vehicle.
Mr. Malm sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is being treated and listed in critical condition. Ms. Lykins and Ms. Carmosino were transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
It is unknown at this time if excessive speed or impairment are factors in the crash.
On August 28, 2022, Mr. Malm succumbed to his injuries at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

$5,000 Reward Offered in Over-the-Rhine Shooting
CINCINNATI — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Cincinnati Police Department are announcing a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the mass shooting in the Over-the-Rhine area.
On August 7, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Cincinnati Police responded to a shooting near Main and Woodward Streets. A responding police officer fired one round at the suspect as they fled from the scene. A total of nine people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting.

The Shop Quick convenience store at 4470 Glenhaven was robbed at gun point around 1000 hours. The subjects drove a gold Chevy Malibu. Both subjects displayed a firearm. They were last seen headed north on Pedretti towards Delhi from Mt. Alverno.

The theft occurred on June 16 -June 17, 2022 between the hours of 2200-0600 at listed location. Reportee states unknown suspects stole a large wolf statue from Eden Park.

On June 16, 2022, around 1909 hours, a heavyset female black entered LensCrafters in Springdale and walked over to the displays. The female then began removing glasses from the display and concealing them down the front of her shorts. The female suspect walked around the store, removing more glasses and concealing them down her shorts and also in her purse.
The suspect then exited the store without paying. The suspect stole a total of 13 pairs of glasses, total theft $3900.00.
The female black was wearing jean shorts, a black top with the words "Demon Slayer". The female also a visible tattoo on the top of her forearm and a tattoo on the side of her calf.
Attempt Aggravated Auto Robbery

Location of Incident: 249 West Mitchell Avenue BP Gas Station.
Cincinnati Police Department District Five is investigating an attempt aggravated auto robbery which occurred at 249 West Mitchell Avenue at the BP gas station. The suspects were in a dark colored Dodge Charger with unknown Plates. One of the suspects entered the victim’s vehicle while the vehicle was parked in front of the store. The victim saw the suspect enter his vehicle and ran outside to confront the suspect. The driver of the dark colored Charger drove up behind the victim’s vehicle and pointed a gun at the victim allowing the suspect the exit the victim’s vehicle. Suspect and driver took off west bound on West Mitchell Avenue.
ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
6/13/22
On 6/13/22, at 7:45 AM, an assault offense was committed at The BP gas station located at 1550 Queen City Avenue.
The suspect engaged in an argument with the cashier, struck the cashier through the service window and then grabbed the cashier by the shirt smashing her against the window glass. The suspect then assaulted a second BP employee who came to the aid of the first assault victim. The suspect is a black female, 5’7” 160 pounds wearing a white short sleeved T-shirt and black pants.

On 6/4 the two pictured subjects robbed the Rapid Run Carryout at gun point taking cash. The subjects were found to have gone to Walmart prior to the robbery to purchase the hats worn during the robbery. The vehicle pictured was seen at both Walmart and driving around the Carryout during the robbery.

On 2/1/2022 around 6:00am, Taco Bell in Colerain (9449 Colerain Avenue) was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect got away with approximately $200 in cash. He also stole a Samsung Tablet belonging to the restaurant. On 2/9/2022 around 6:30am, the pictured suspect also robbed a Marathon in Green Township at gunpoint. The suspect was able to get away with a book bag that had around $14,000 cash in it. Both incidents, witnesses stated the suspect was associated with a gold sedan. Cincinnati Police Department District Four is investigating a Robbery offense that occurred at 8274 Vine St, United Dairy Farmer.
The Robbery occurred on February 11, 2022, at 5:40 PM. Reportee states an unknown suspect dressed in all black entered through the front door and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then exited the location through the same door. Property Taken: $200.00. US Currency. Suspect Information: Male, black jacket, black jeans, and black boots.
