Reading Police need your help!

According to detectives, On August 1st 2016, an aggravated robbery occurred at 204 Pike Street, Reading, Ohio, 45215. The victim, a 76 year old female, was thrown to the ground, and cut with a knife on her right hand, and left forearm. The suspect, female white, skinny, blond hair, in her 20's was last seen entering the vehicle below, and leaving the scene. The vehicle, a light colored Chevrolet four door sedan, was last seen turning north onto Jefferson Avenue.

The People’s Bank in Blanchester, Ohio was robbed at around 11:20 Friday morning, July 29. The suspect is a white man, who can be seen in the below surveillance photos from the bank, as well as in a composite sketch created based on witness descriptions.

We are interested in speaking with anyone who might have information on a truck seen in the area of People’s Bank at the time of the robbery, a photo of which can be seen below. The truck may, or may not, be related to the robbery.

The Blanchester Police Department is offering a $1,000 cash reward to the person who provides information leading to the arrest of the men who robbed the bank. On 07/29/2016 we had a robbery at the Shell Express gas station located at 1804 Dixie Highway in Fort Wright, Kentucky.  The suspect, (see attached), was a male, white, 20’s, 5’05” – 5’10”, with brown or reddish hair, and fair skin.  He was wearing a red and white Cincinnati Reds ball cap, a black short sleeved t-shirt, black pants, and dark colored shoes.  The suspect reached into the cash register as the clerk was making change and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Heidi Bake

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section is asking for assistance in solving the (cold case) Aggravated Murder of Heidi Bake.  The offense occurred on June 11, 2010 in the 2500 Block of Wenning Road in Colerain Twp.  During the overnight hours, 3 black males forced entry into the residence of Ms. Bake and her boyfriend.  The three suspects were all described as approx. 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing white tee shirts and masks.  All three suspects were carrying a firearm, which ultimately lead to Ms. Bake and her boyfriend being shot.  The boyfriend survived his injuries however Ms. Bake died as a result of being shot.

The Elsmere Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Wednesday 07/13/2016 at approximately 2:20 pm at Woodside Park in Elsmere. An unknown male forced a 12 year old female into a wooded area adjacent to Woodside Park. The male indicated that he was affiliated with the police department and unless she cooperated, she would be arrested. After the assault the male was last seen walking northbound on Lytle Avenue toward the railroad tracks. He is described as:

M/W, 5'9" to 6'00", 30's - 40's, chubby, pear shaped with a "beer belly", curly "orange" hair and medium length, "orange" curly beard, light complexion, and unclean crooked teeth.

Perpetrator had full sleeve tattoo's on both arms and was wearing tan/khaki shorts with pockets, black tank top with batman logo, navy blue baseball cap with unknown logo and rounded wire frame glasses. Perpetrator was pulling a medium sized, black suit case with wheels.

The Elsmere Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred on July 17th at the Mazak Corporation, located at 6850 Industrial Road in Elsmere, KY. The photo of this suspect is from the surveillance video of the business.  Investigators believe that more than one suspect was involved and this incident may be related to other burglaries that have occurred at the same business.

Mt. Healthy Police are investigating an Aggravated Robbery that took place on July 7th, 2016 at 7440 Hamilton Ave. The four subjects in the attached photo are accused of taking property from the victim and firing several shots when the victim attempted to retrieve the property.

Police need help with the identification of this subject. 


On 7/3/16  at 2335 Hrs.  The subject in the photo arrived at the United Dairy Farmers located at 3190 Woodford Rd in District Two, in a stolen vehicle from the District 5 area. This subject and another male black subject who was covered with a hoodie parked the stolen vehicle they were operating and got into another victim’s 2004 Cadillac SRS silver in color that was left running while the victim went into the UDF. The two subjects drove off in an unknown direction.

A burglary occurred on 06/20/2016 at approximately 0630 hours at Foreign Auto Salvage in Fort Wright, Kentucky. The pictured suspect removed numerous items from a storage container on the property. The suspect was operating the pictured vehicle below.

On Monday night, June 27th, 2016, Lawrenceburg Police responded to an alarm at Tri-State Battery and Honda at 48 Doughty Road.  Upon arrival, officers observed that the front door had been broken and multiple items of merchandise had been taken including batteries, water pumps, a generator and jump start packs.

The burglary was carried out in a similar manner to those recently reported in Aurora and Batesville.

A review of surveillance video indicated the suspect and suspect vehicle had previously arrived at the business on Thursday evening, June 23rd, 2016 while the business was closed.  The video indicates the suspect looks in the front door and window.

The suspect and suspect vehicle are described as:

White male, thin build, short hair

2010-2012 Nissan Versa hatchback, grey or silver in color

Lawrenceburg Police and the Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
