On December 18, 2013, an elderly female victim assisted a black female subject at Speedway in Mt. Airy by loaning her $20. During this transaction, the elderly victim left her purse unattended with this unknown female for a short period. During this time, the unknown female removed several checks and a credit card from the elderly victim’s purse. During the week after the incident, the elderly victim’s credit card account was charged for nearly $1,500. The credit card was used by a white female at the Speedway located at Pippin Road and West Galbraith Road and the Speedway in Mt. Airy. This suspect was seen as a passenger in a gray Dodge Durango and a small tan sedan on two separate occasions.
