The 2009 Crime Stoppers Awards Breakfast
Every year Crime Stoppers honors those who have contributed to making difference in our community. The 2009 Crime Stoppers Awards Breakfast will be held on October 8, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Cincinnati. WLWT’s Courtis Fuller will be our MC and our special guest speaker will be UC Football coach Brian Kelley.

Please submit nomination with a narrative detailing the rationale for the award nomination and any supporting documentation to place this nomination in proper perspective. What the nomination did that is extra ordinary or outstanding.

Nomination Guidelines
Crime Stoppers is a multi facet nonprofit organization with a rich tradition of increasing safety in our community by solving crimes. In living that mission, our programs and services work to build safe, strong and healthy communities. Our efforts, based upon the mission of the founders of Crime Stoppers convey how we view our work as volunteers rather than just a job.
We know that we are not alone in that effort and have created the Crime Stoppers Awards to recognize individuals and organizations who have demonstrated a similar commitment to our region. If you would like to nominate an individual(s) or organization(s) that you believe works tirelessly to build a safe, healthy and strong community, please read the following guidelines and send us your completed Nomination Form(s) by September 8, 2009. Nomination Forms may be copied.
GUIDELINES:
Please choose only one category for the person(s) or organization you are nominating:
1. Law Enforcement Agency Award - Any agency/ organization in the legal or law enforcement sector that has had a positive impact on the community by promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities in Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana.
2. Law Enforcement - Police Officer Award - Any individual, in the legal or law enforcement sector that has gone beyond the their normal duties that has had a positive impact on the community by promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities in Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana.
3. Media Representative - Organization Award - Any individual, group of individuals or media company that has shown dedication to promoting community safety and building healthy communities in Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana.
4. Corporate Representative or Corporation Award - Any individual, group of individuals or corporation that has had a positive impact on the community by promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities in Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana.
5. Crime Stoppers Board Member Award - Any Crime Stoppers Board Member from the Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana who has shown through their volunteer service a dedication to promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities.
6. Professional- Business Association Award - Any association, agency, business or organization that has worked diligently in promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities in Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeast Indiana.
7. Community Organization- Citizen Volunteer Award - Any individual from the Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeastern Indiana area who has shown through their volunteer service a dedication to promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities.
8. Student Award. Any student from the Greater Cincinnati - Northern Kentucky – Southeastern Indiana area who has shown through their volunteer service a dedication to promoting community safety and/or building stronger communities.
Award recipients will be selected by the Awards Committee. The winners of 2009 Crime Stoppers Awards will be honored at the Crime Stoppers Awards Breakfast Thursday, October 8, 2009, at the Hyatt Hotel, downtown Cincinnati.
