 March 20,2019  CINCINNATI (WLWT)— Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday night in Westwood. The incident took place around 11 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a shooting on Erlene Drive. Advertisement Officials said first responders located the victim, Quimontre Dixon, 23, and transported him to University Hospital. Dixon was pronounced dead on arrival, police said. The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.

SOUTH CUMMINSVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) – Police are investigating a homicide in South Cumminsville. Investigators say a man was found dead on Hoffner Street Wednesday, near Herron Avenue before noon. Police have identified him as David Fountain, 36.

March 29, 1019 SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) – A woman who was shot and killed in South Fairmount Saturday night has been identified. Darian Wood, 26, was shot in the 1700 block of Westwood Avenue at 9:23 p.m., Cincinnati police said. Wood was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where police said she was pronounced dead on arrival. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating.

SOUTH FAIRMOUNT, Ohio (WKRC) – A man who was reported missing earlier this week has been found dead in South Fairmount, according to Cincinnati Police.

Chase Daniel Singer, 36, was found dead at around 11 a.m. on Friday in the 1800 block of Forbus St. in South Fairmount. The death has been ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office. Singer was reported missing on Tuesday by his aunt, who reported that she has not seen or heard from him in three weeks. Singer suffered from a brain injury that he sustained as a child. A neighbor told police Singer left behind his therapeutic dog, Lu-Lu, who he never leaves, without food or water. Police said when Singer went missing that he was in good physical condition but poor mental condition.

Homicide Unit Investigation

On August 22, 2018, District Five officers responded to the 1800 block of Mehmert Avenue to investigate a report of human skeletal remains found in a vacant lot.  First responders located the bones and notified the Homicide Unit.  The Homicide Unit responded to investigate.  After collaborating with the Hamilton County Coroner’s office, the remains were identified as Nickiesha Holloman (a female black 23 years of age).  The death has been ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s office.  There is no suspect information to release at this time.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is on-going.

Homicide Unit Investigation

On May 29, 2018. at 10:44 a.m., District Three officers responded to 934 Chateau Avenue for reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim in the parking lot of the apartment complex. Fire personnel attempted life saving measures but the victim died on the scene.

The victim has been identified as Marcell Huffaker, 52 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide unit is on-going.

Floral Avenue Death Ruled Homicide

Blue Ash, Ohio (3/28/2018) – The Blue Ash Police Department is asking for tips from the public regarding an open homicide investigation.

On March 24, Blue Ash Police were dispatched to the 9300 block of Floral Avenue to investigate the death of a 37-year-old man. Initially, the cause of death was undetermined. BAPD detectives, with assistance from the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, processed the scene. After several days of additional investigation, the death of Michael M. Needham has been ruled a homicide. A cause of death is not being released at this time.

All available resources are being utilized in this investigation, and the Blue Ash Police Department is committed to bringing justice to Mr. Needham and his family.

On March 11, 2018, at approximately 12:47 a.m., District 2 Officers responded to investigate a report of a shooting at 5805 Adelphi Street. First responders locate two victims inside the residence who had already succumbed to their injuries.

The victims have been identified as Michael Myatt, a black male born 8/3/1960 and Matthew Myatt, black male born 5/29/1987.

Gunner the service dog shot dead, dumped near railroad tracks

 

WALTON, Ky. (WKRC) - A disabled veteran who lost his support dog three weeks ago says the Siberian Husky was stolen, shot and dumped along the railroad tracks.

“Gunner” was found dead on Monday afternoon, just one day after his family started getting strange messages demanding money for information about the dog's whereabouts.
