Rhonda Gibson is wanted for Felony Forgery and Taking the Identity of Another. Gibson is accused of presenting a fake Driver’s license with the victim’s name and attempted to withdraw over $7500.00 in US Currency from the victim’s bank account. Gibson fled an left the ID behind. She was identified from bank surveillance camera. Rhonda Gibson is a white female 42 years old, 5’7 and 150 lbs. Gibson has a history of Assault and Drug Charges and she was last known to live on First Ave in Price Hill.

District Four Detectives are looking for Rickey Brown, wanted on two counts of Aggravated Robbery, accused of robbing the victims at gunpoint. Rickey Brown is a black male 25 years old, 5’8 and 169 lbs. Brown has a history of Burglary and Drug charges and he was last known to live on Lakeview Drive in Roselawn.

POLICE ASK FOR TIPS IN ATM THEFT [Case# 20-1594]

The West Chester Police Department had a theft of an ATM from Chase Bank at 8115 Highland Pointe Drive on Friday, May 22. 

The suspects stole a pick-up truck from another jurisdiction and used it to pull the ATM out of the drive-thru of the bank.  The ATM was recovered just off the bank property and the stolen pick-up truck was recovered in a nearby apartment complex.

Police are asking anyone who may have information related to this crime or who may know the identities of the suspects involved to contact the West Chester Police Department at 513-777-2231.

April 5, 2020

 On April 5, 2020, at approximately 8:10 PM, District Two officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1800 block of Duck Creek Road.  Additional 911 calls indicated a vehicle had crashed at the 5.3 mile marker of northbound I-71 after traveling the wrong way down the Dana Avenue exit ramp.  Responding officers located two shooting victims inside the crashed vehicle.  The Cincinnati Fire Department transported both victims to University Hospital.  One victim died from her injuries after arrival and has been identified as Micaela Stevenson, 34 years of ageNo further information will be released on the surviving victim.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.   Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

March 30, 2020

On March 29, 2020, at approximately 8:10 PM, District Three officers responded to investigate the report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Westwood Northern BLVD. Upon arrival, officers located Derrick D. Terry, 35 years of age, suffering from a multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Terry was pronounced deceased at the scene.   

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.   There is no suspect information to release currently.  Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

Ricardo Maxwell is on the run from Cincinnati police, wanted for a February West End double street shooting that killed 24-year-old Mister Williams and critically wounded another. Ricardo Maxwell is a black male 27 years old, 6’0 and 150lbs. Maxwell has a history of Trafficking in Drugs and his last known address is on Argus Ave in College Hill. Remember Crimestoppers is offering $2500.00 Cash reward for any information that leads to his arrest.

James Douthit

On March 11, 2020, at approximately 9:24 PM, District One officers responded to the 500 block of Poplar Street to investigate a report of a shooting.  First responders located a shooting victim who was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  The victim succumbed to his injuries and has been identified as James Douthit, 49 years of age

The West Chester Police Department is attempting to identify people involved in stealing wallets from purses.

On February 19, a group of people were working together at the Voice of America Shopping Center to steal wallets from purses left in shopping carts. The female would distract victims while a male got into the purses. Stolen credit cards from the wallets were then used to make purchases by the suspects at local retail stores.

On Monday, February 10, 2020, at approximately 8:30 AM, Cincinnati Police Department District 5 responded to 239 W. McMillan Street to investigate a serious injury traffic crash.

Ms. Amber Gilliland, F/24, was walking northbound across W. McMillan St. at the intersection of Clifton Ave. in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on W. McMillan St.

Ms. Amber Gilliland was transported to UC Medical Center and sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash

The striking vehicle fled the scene of the collision, last seen traveling southbound on Wheeler St. from McMillan St. The striking vehicle is believed to be a 2016 or newer Toyota Tacoma, red or orange in color.

The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513.352.2514 or call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
