MEDIA RELEASE

July 21, 2020

 On July 21, 2020, at approximately 11:20 AM, District Two officers responded to investigate a reported shooting victim in the 5400 block of Beechmont Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located Kevin Smith, 29 years of age, suffering from a single gunshot wound. Mr. Smith was pronounced deceased at the scene.   

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.   There is no suspect information to release currently.  Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

On July 1, 2020 at approximately 23:06 hrs. the above pictured unidentified suspect broke into the BP Gas Station located at 6464 Winton RD. The first suspect (with the visor on) stayed outside the business as a lookout. The second suspect gained entry into the store and stole tobacco products. The second suspect has several distinctive tattoos including a heart on each forearm with writing on both and cursive writing above the heart on his right arm.. The attached vehicle was involved in the offense.

The pictures of suspect 1 (1-6, 1-2, 1-7) are all of the same person. The complexion looks different due to color vs night mode.

June 30, 2020

On June 30, 2020, at approximately 3:40 PM, District Five officers responded to investigate a reported shooting in the 5000 block of Spring Grove Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victims have been identified as Leontae Johnson, 24 years of age, and Choya Elmer, 24 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.   There is no suspect information to release currently.  Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

UPDATE

 On July 01, 2020, at approximately 2:30 PM, with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad and District Four officers; Michael Glover, 25 years of age, was arrested and charged with two counts of Murder for causing the deaths of both victims.

June 24, 2020

 On June 24, 2020, at approximately 3:17 AM, District One officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 1900 block of Colerain Avenue.  First responders located a shooting victim who was deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as Ravonte Johnson, 21 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.  Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

 

June 24, 2020

Parrish K. Williams is wanted for Felonious Assault, accused of  striking the victim multiple times with his fist and struck her in the head with a glass bottle causing serious injury.   

Parrish Williams is 58 years old, 5'8 and 200 lbs.        

FREQUENTS:  Evanston and East Walnut Hills/Walnut Hills area

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Suspect is wanted in District 2 for another Felonious Assault that occurred at 3036 Victory Parkway. Warrant signed by relief officer.

Jahmel Railey is wanted for Felony Robbery accused of striking the victim multiple times, then running off with their cell phone.  Jahmel Railey is a black male 32 years old, 5’9 and 150 lbs. Jahmel Railey has a history of Assault, Weapons and Drug charges. Jahmel Railey was last known to live on Kessler Ave in Clifton.

District Three detectives are looking for Michael Boeh is wanted for Domestic Violence, Robbery and Kidnapping accused of forcing the victim into his vehicle and striking her multiple times. According to the report, Boeh took the victim’s shoes and cell phone before driving off. Michael Boeh is a white male 5’11 and 175 lbs. Michael Boeh has a history of Domestic Violence, Trafficking in Drugs and Assaults. Michael Boeh was last known to live on Delridge Drive in Price Hill.

On 5/28/2019 between the hours of 0045 and 0219, a victim was abducted, held at gunpoint and forced to drive to various ATM locations withdrawing cash in excess of $1000.00.  The victim later dropped the suspects off at a location on the west side of Cincinnati.

Suspect #1:

M/B late 30's, 5'11'' large build (in photo) armed with compact, black semi-automatic handgun, black hoodie and dark pants

Suspect #2:

M/B late 30's, 5'11" 170 lbs. black hoodie, dark pants short facial hair and a lot of hair on head.

June 21, 2020

 

On June 21, 2020, at approximately 1:36 AM, District Four officers responded to reports of a person shot in the 200 block of McGregor Avenue.  Responding officers located a shooting victim outside at that location.  The Cincinnati Fire Department transported the victim to University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  The victim has been identified as Christopher Metz, 37 years of age

                                                          UPDATE

On July 20th, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad, arrested Nicholas Metz, 19 years of age, on a murder warrant for the death of Mr. Christopher Metz.
