THEFT INVESTIGATION

September 13, 2020

Cincinnati Police Department District 3 is attempting to identify the below suspect who entered the yard of the complainant’s State Ave residence and removed $500.00 worth of property. The suspect is operating a full size black pickup truck, possibly a Ford F150, with a black cap on the bed that is designed for a smaller truck. The suspect is a white male, approximately 5’11” and 170 lbs. with brown hair.  At the time of the offense, the suspect was wearing black pants and a red shirt.

Fatal Crash Investigation Update

September 28, 2020

On Sunday, August 23, 2020, at approximately 2:19 AM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 3320 Reading Road to investigate a serious injury traffic crash.

A 2008 Dodge Nitro was traveling North on Reading Road. The Dodge Nitro struck a 2020 Kawasaki KX100 off road motorcycle in the rear being operated by Mr. Cameron Ferguson, M/22. The impact caused Mr. Ferguson to lose control of his motorcycle striking a 2020 Yamaha YZ85 off road motorcycle being operated by Mr. Michael Cook, M/21. The Dodge Nitro fled the scene of the crash and was found abandoned a short time later.

Mr. Ferguson sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was being treated and listed in critical conditionOn August 24, 2020, Mr. Ferguson succumbed to his injuries at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Mr. Cook sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was treated and since released. 

Both Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Cook were wearing helmets at the time of the crash. 

Excessive speed is a factor in the crash. 

Impairment as a factor is yet to be determined.

Fatal Crash Investigation

September 26, 2020

 On Saturday, September 26, 2020, at approximately 12:28 AM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 3385 Reading Road to investigate a fatal injury traffic crash. 

Ms. Candice Christon, F/33, was a pedestrian crossing Reading Road.  A vehicle, unknown make and model, traveling south on Reading Road struck Ms. Christon.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene of the crash and the driver’s identity is unknown.  Ms. Christon sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries while being treated.

Excessive speed as a factor is yet to be determined. 

Impairment as a factor is yet to be determined.

September 26, 2020

 On September 26, 2020, at approximately 3:27 am, District One officers responded to the 1600 block of Hamer Street to investigate a report of a person shot.  First responders located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds at that location.  The first victim was transported to University Hospital by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel where he is being treated for his injuries.  The second victim was deceased at the scene.  The identity of the first victim is not being released.  The homicide victim has been identified as Leonard Powell, 32 years of age.

September 25, 2020

 On September 9, 2020, at approximately 12:52 am, District One officers responded to the 1600 block of Linn Street to investigate a report of a person shot.  First responders located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound at that location.  The victim was transported to University Hospital by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel where she succumbed to her injuries.  The victim has been identified as Felisa Vanessa Tremble, 53 years of age. 

                                                           UPDATE

 On September 25, 2020, the Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit arrested Aaron Gill, 25 years of age, and charged him with Murder for the death of Ms. Tremble.

Marquez Harris is wanted for Felony Burglary accused of kicking in the victim’s apartment door on Findlay Street and running off with $40.00 US Currency. Marquez Harris is a black male 28 years old, 6’1 and 150 lbs. Harris has a history of Having Weapons Under Disability and Armed Robbery. Harris was last known to live on W Galbraith Road in North College Hill.

Robert Glaspar is wanted for Felony Domestic Violence. Robert Glaspar is a black male 30 years old, 5’6 and 190 lbs. Robert Glaspar has a history of Aggravated Burglary, Drug Trafficking and other Domestic Violence charges. Robert Glaspar frequents South Fairmount.

September 18, 2020

 On November 19, 2019, at 7:29 am, Cincinnati Fire Department and District Three officers responded to the 3200 block of Gobel Avenue to investigate a working fire.  First responders transported one victim who was injured during the fire to University Hospital.  The victim has been identified as Tony Eason, 64 years of age

On November 25, 2019, Mr. Eason, succumbed to his injuries suffered during the fire.  The death is being investigated as a homicide.

UPDATE:  On September 17, 2020, Jamal Rashid, 35 years of age, was indicted for Agg. September 16, 2020

 On September 16, 2020, at approximately 9:25 AM, District Four officers responded to investigate a reported deceased person in the 3600 block of Irving Street. Upon arrival, officers located three people suffering from gunshot wounds inside the location. All three were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The deceased have been identified as Genaro Gray, 31 years of age, Javona Coleman, 30 years of age and Darius Parker, 27 years of age.

The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing.   There is no suspect information to release currently.  Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call the Homicide Unit at (513) 352-3542.

Stephen Irving

District Four Detectives are looking for Stephen Irving, wanted for Felonious Assault. According to investigators, Stephen Irving struck the victim in the face knocking him unconscious. While the victim laid on the ground, Irving stomped him in the head. The victim is in a coma fighting for his life. Stephen Irving is a black male 40 years old, 6’0 and 190 lbs. Irving has a history of Trafficking n Drugs, Aggravated Vehicular Assault and Assault. He was last known to live on Lillian Drive in Bond Hill, However he frequents North Avondale MLK Park on Burton Ave.
